I am and have always been active in giving back to the world  I have grown up in.  Realizing that there is not a place where teens ages 12-18 can post and look for community service hours, I thought about solving that with the creation of a  "bulletin board" website posting all sorts of different jobs for community service projects. I jumped at the opportunity to be a pioneer in community service for California's teens. The CalKidsCare.com site offers a central, easy way to find out about service opportunities, location via map,  and who is in chargeof what projects. The CalKidsCare site links to volunteer sites surrounding Marin County, with nearby, and even global opportunities to give service.  I welcome your suggestions for this site and look forward to emails from newcomers and visitors, wanting to give back to our community.
